Exhibitions and Museums in Rome: Goethe House
The Goethe House is a permanent museum where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stayed during his journey from 1786 to 1788 with Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein and other German artists.
A unique collection of letters and diaries, drawings, sketches and portrait of Goethe made in 1982 by Andy Warhol, inspired by the famous painting by Tischbein “Goethe in the Campagna of Rome”.
